According to the Hed Kandi website and the CD I have, this song is called Into The Sunset. However when you look to purchase thru RP, the title of the song is different so it doesnt appear in the track listings. But I promise its there. Serve Chilled Volume 3. If you like this groove- get the CD. My productivity increases 248% if I listen to this CD while I work. It's so so cool..

enjoy...
Not an instrumental - Day By Day lyrics
Live our days for the idea of other days
Took our love and our hurt to new arms
Taking the worst in as many ways
That you can throw at me
Live our days for the idea of other days
Took our love and our hurt to new arms
Taking the worst in as many ways
That you can throw at me
*Open up your palms, dear
I can see a better way
If we take it day by day
Slide into sunsets
With soft and grace
Open up your heart, dear
I can see a better way
If we take it day by day
We'll watch sunsets
At their own pace*
I bought back my weekend
Not shopping till the lights come on
I dropped anger and frustration
Turning over when the adverts come on
Repeat *

Is there a disconnect somewhere? This song is listed as an "Instrumental," but I'm hearing lyrics.

This song is available on Amazon Music - the title is "Day By Day".

The high frequencies hurt my ears. Plugged in a low-pass filter at 12 k and started to enjoy the music. Also, someone is singing slightly out of tune here. Could be me, though...

I have listened to RP for many, many years. I find it helps to keep Audacity ready in my quick launch to record songs like this one. My Cool Tracks library grows!

The most annoying thing when finding a 'new' song you really like is finding it's an old song and you can't buy the damn thing anywhere. Certainly not for a reasonable amount. So what are we supposed to do?

And I'm hearing Sade.
There's one for every song on the playlist. Anyhow, cool groove.

For me, I keep hearing shades of old Pink Floyd, from Meddle. Can't put my finger on it, maybe the guitar work...
Whatever, I like it!

The synth string section w/ heavy bass line is SO channeling the Bill Laswell "Material" side-project off of the Hallucination Engine album. I am thinking tracks 3 & 4, "Ruins (Submutation Dub)" and "Eternal Drift" — same melody as in the last 1/4 of each of these tracks.

I can't believe this is the first time I've heard this. I recognized it immediately as a Bill & Rebecca lure! I'm so grateful for all you do!

1999!!!??!!! How could I have been so busy/preoccupied/bone-headed to have missed this!!?
Once again, thanks to Bill & Rebecca for expanding my (apparently narrow) horizons. Solid 9 and I haven't even heard the entire song yet.

If Beth Orton sang lead vocal for Pink Floyd on Meddle, and whoever produces Delerium produced the album . . . yeah, you could get this. Not a bad combination, BTW.

I think it's Tina Grace.
