I liked them better when they were called Portishead.

Not a fan of electronically distorted voices, but this is okay.

Yes! Chill-Masters! Desert Island must-have music, up there with the best! Thanks, RP! I am eternally grateful!

Hafdís Huld is wonderful on this. Anyone know what became of her?

And was released on my favorite sampler: Café del Mar! Check it out!

When I'm old and sittin' 'round the old folks home flyin' high as a kite, this is the kind of stuff I'm going to want to listen to.

Excellent plan!
At first, I Thought it was  the Sneaker Pimps.
EXCELLENT TUNE!  It is the first time that I have heard of them. That is why we come here.  Thanx RP!

I Agree.
I got Ibiza on my mind
Odd: the group description here says they released only one album "Machine Says Yes". But this song is from an album called "Another Fine Mess".

GREAT TUNE! Reminds me of Sneaker Pimps. I never heard them before this,  Thanx RP!
I’ve heard this many times; never knew who did it; Thanks RP!! Wonderful!!
Ah, an interesting mantra for these days...

Now THAT was a soundtrack album. For a while it was hard to find in the US; I don't know if it still is.

The Cult, XTC, Duran Duran, Starsailor, Joe Cocker, etc. The film actually contains RS's Gimme Shelter, and the fact the the soundtrack album is not worse for omitting it speaks volumes.
As Tyler would say-Just let go!
Thanks for introducing this to my ears, RP.

Jeez.... How many times do I need to write this, today? This year? Next year?

I wonder if FC is "The Big" Kahuna?
how long do you think it took to write the lyrics for this song?

I have heard this track a bunch of times on RP and now I finally got to the point where I am like wow... nice!  Thanks BillG & R

You monster.
Always liked this track - certain it was used in the surreal UK comedy Monkey Dust - another bonus 👍
I remember this song while I was chilling at Cafe Mambo in Ibiza watching the superb sunset and chilling😎
L4YER CAKE

Old People's Homes for Hippies do exist. They can do their drugs, drink etc. there. Young (& cute & dutch) nurses attendant? Most probably...! In the Netherlands:

I'm so glad to be here ... and now ... G.I.G.A.T.T.!! {#Meditate} (Morcheeba ... Zero 7 ... Air ...)
Added: FC Kahuna - Hayling

Surprised — I uploaded this years ago !

Love it...

I really dig this song as well as the videos for it. {#Music}
Hey, Poacher, it's been two months.  How are you coming on the retirement home of my dreams?

FWIW:
FC = football club
Kahuna = Hawaiian VIP
Combination = ??

Hurrah!

This novel is based on that concept, and it's quite funny:  https://www.amazon.com/Jimi-Hendrix-Turns-Eighty-Sandlin/dp/1594489335

Always liked this tune when it came out.
''Another Fine Mess'' indeed sounds like a bunch of squashed marsh mellows and candy floss. Sorry Folks not for me but I just had to comment be it negatively.

Nice groove....but she totally could've done it without the auto-tuning on her voice. I don't care for that at ALL in any song.
 (Except the Bedroom Stalker Viral Video YouTube guy - "hide yo wife, hide yo kids and hide yo husbands...")

I love this! I first stumbled upon this tune on the soundtrack of "Riding Giants" - a documentary on the evolution of big wave surfing from the 50's to the present.

Great film. Great soundtrack.
Great song.
