Great song. I don't care what any of you naysayers think!
Is Leonard Cohen back?...Please Kottke has a better voice ...It's definitely from his genre.
I just bought some brie that tasted a lot different than I expected. Very bitter. Unlike this song.
This song smells like old cheese.

Heehee...I don't know Leo Kottke's voice well enough to agree or not. But that was just damned funny.
I bought this album by accident (wanted Grand National) but I like it alot.

Nope...no, still think it's funny. But now I'm marvelling at how you seem to know how and what I think.
You must be the psychicgenius.
now,now
Can't believe no one mentioned the Lloyd Cole and the Commotions (c. Rattlesnakes) feel to this...

Bring the National unto us. It is right and meet so to do.

And by "funniest", you mean "kind of funny", and by "in a long time", you mean in the last 5 or 10 minutes. I hope.
or,
Ploafmaster thought bubble: "Look at me. I can disagree with some smart-ass negative comment about a song I like and I'm still open-minded enough to laugh at it! Dagnabbit, I have to give myself a 10." :)

Is he singing? Or just mumbling listlessly?
More National. Heed my request.

Kick-ass singing and by "kick" I mean "sounds like".
It's a great album... if you love this kind of voice like I do. Worthwhile lyrics.
I uploaded Abel and it got Sorried, so I guess you're right. It is a damn cool song though.
I do like this one quite a bit too.

Not their best song.
I'd really like to hear "Abel" here on RP, but I suspect it's a little too loud (which is suprising, given this song).
this song just seems to get going a little too late. hope i hear something else from them though seems as if it might have promise.
Reflective, deliciously sexy singing from an otherwise unremarkable voice. A lullaby in sound, but for the topics: "How can anybody know how they got to be this way?" "Break my arms around my love"

Quite pleasant. Nothing special, but somewhat pleasant nonetheless.
Agreed, would be good background music.

Interesting lyrics sung in a very boring way, if you can call it singing.
Not their best song.
