I'm coming, I'm coming home to you
I'm alive, I'm a mess
I can't wait to get home to you
To get warm, warm and undressed

There've been changes beyond my dreams
Everybody wants me to sing
There've been changes beyond my grasp
Things I'm sinking in

So keep me, keep me
In your bed all day, all day
Nothing heals me like you do
Nothing heals me like you do

And when somebody knows you well
Well there's no comfort like that
And when somebody needs you
Well there's no drug like that

So keep me, keep me
In your bed all day, all day
Nothing heals me like you do
Keep me keep me
In your bed all day, all day
Nothing heals me like you do

And where l'm home, curled in your arms
And I'm safe again
I'll close my eyes and sleep, sleep
To the sound of London Rain

So keep me, keep me
In your bed all day, all day
Nothing heals me like you do
Keep me keep me
In your bed all day, all day
Nothing heals me like you do
Nothing heals me like you do

Nothing falls like London Rain
Nothing heals me like you do

Nothing falls like London Rain
Nothing heals me like you do

Nothing falls like London Rain
Nothing heals me like you do

Why aren't we hearing more by Heather Nova on the mellow mix? She fits the bill Bill!
Singing my heart......
This is an excellent CD cover to cover if you like Heather Nova..

It's not really my music of choice either — though I think it sounds quite good objectively — but what I love about RP is how you can literally hear something from EVERY genre.

This is soooo 90s
I love it! I got to meet Heather in the late '90s at a small club in Scottsdale. She played a great set.{#Hearteyes}
{#War} All hail Queen Madge! This is what thy Ray of Light hath wrought.{#Biggrin}
...next on 901whatevertheheck.
Am I the only one who heard the first few notes and was expecting "Semi-Charmed Life"?

yah for heather!
Gives more, so much more than preceding Peyroux...

i love it. so many memories

11:44 am - Heather Nova - London Rain (Nothing Heals Me Like You Do)
11:41 am - Madeleine Peyroux - California Raining

Bill should follow this up with "Rains In Asia", by Jump Little Children.

This song was on a mixtape that somone made me. I hadn't heard it before then, and since I lost that tape I haven't heard it until now. Weird.

Dear RP, what is the average age of your listeners? And can we have that broken down into subscribers and people who have not yet subscribed?

Very Very curious. Thank you.

I think there's a lot more 27-37 listeners than are indicated by postings...

Haha... was just thinking the same thing.  I'm 29, always thought that commenters would be older, but it's good to see there are other Felicity and Dawson's Creek reminiscers!  {#Wave}

Anyone have live Heather shows to trade? I have about 30 at (click here), would like to hear some recent stuff after her baby break...

About as phony as "public interest lawyer".

She was born Heather Frith. I think Nova is an improvement, although druids might not agree.
Beautiful voice.
Am I the only who hears Sarah McLachlan? *ed: I don't mean that in a bad way... I love Sarah!* She got the first line out and I was sure that's who it was!
Heh, I bought this CD after hearing Heart & Shoulder on Felicity. Girl got around! But worth the buy. Definitely more talented than a lot of others out there, and underrated.

She reminds me of the Counting Crows. That could be a good thing. . . but given RP listeners distate for the Crows . . . oh, the hell with the Crow naysayers! I give a 7 for a first listen.
"Nothing falls like London rain"? She's obviously never been to Glasgow - even the heaviest London rain is mere drizzle in comparison :)

Very nice track!! I think I bought this as a sophmore in high school after I heard it on Dawson's Creek. Long time ago...
haha, yes, I did the same exact thing, I already had some earlier stuff by her, but then they played this album heavily that season or in a few episodes that I noticed so I had to buy this too. I feel like such a girl, but my friend and I watched Dawsons Creek religiously :-)
I have this cd...only a few real good songs on it and this is one of them. Avalanche is the best song on cd ...hear me Bill ?
I hope Bill plays this one more in the future! It's the first time I've heard it - got my attention right away... thanks to jah_blessed for the upload!
Heard this song here yesterday and STILL can't get it out of my head. Nice sentiment, catchy tune, intense yet not overly-dramatic vocals. Can't believe I'm loving a song that was used on Dawson's Creek. So ashamed.
Nothing heals me like the sound of her voice. Bravo HN.
I've always admired Heather Nova, she's cute, talented...it's a shame that she never reached the big time like Britney&Co.
Sounds like "Mmm Bop" by child prodigies Hanson.
Great tune, this chick never really hit the big time unfortunately
hey, even Dawson's could get it right. though I must admit that a teeny snippet of "Heart and Shoulder" played on Felicity was the impetus for me to buy this CD. glad I did. hey, the show even played a Neil Finn song once. I trust(ed) 'em.

Any song that was on Dawson's becomes suspect.
this one was suspect before that; the Dawson's reference is an indictment.
The distaff Peter Frampton. This is not a compliment, by the way.

same here, a special track for me. Would love to hear the live version.
A special track between me and mine. Love the live version of this, too! Less poppy, a bit more angst. Haunting instrumental mix.
Heather Nova is very talented and so overlooked. One of the few hidden treasures that some of us lucky ones know about. Love her stuff. This is an excellent CD cover to cover. Where is she now?
Fantastic! Whatta surprise! I absolutely love this song, it is the best. Lyrics...mmm...and her voice, really the whole package. Solid 10.
