Welcome to the sun that's shining for
You and all your kind, be kind love more
welcome to the world, the world at war
Open up your heart, its cold outside
The tides about to turn there's nowhere to hide
This is not a dream, let freedom ride
Welcome to the sound, the sound inside
Think about his words and what they mean
Things are not a lie, they're what they seem
This is not a cause for which to bleed
Think about the world and what it needs
Open up your heart, its cold outside
The tides about to turn there's nowhere to hide
This is not a dream, let freedom ride
Welcome to the sound the sound inside
Always love it when I turn on RP and you're playing kiwi music - never heard of these guys though! Still hoping you might play some Fat Freddy's Drop one of these days.
Or Fly My Pretties
LOVE IT! I thought my player switched to my personal collection instead of the RP stream when this came on. One of the BEST albums hardly anyone has heard outside NZ. Play these tracks MORE. Awesome album.
Agree. Great album. Would be nice to hear other tracks from it.
Has a bit of a Lou Barlow + Snow Patrol feel to it.
Let us strive to find, gather, and fire up every bit of the Love within us, and radiate it, while we can, for though Light is merely the visible part of the EM spectrum, I believe that Love has Infinite Quantum Restorative Power, in this and all realms, seen and unseen. Music is also a powerful magic; it makes me move my iron-laden bones through the Earth's subtle but massive fields, and generates current and resultant quantum effects, not only within me but within the entire Universe. RP and all the music contained in its stream is a most worthy and highly regenerative circuit; I'm glad I'm plugged in!
Me neither!
Me 3!! Actually π€ yes I did but didn't know I liked them, cool π
Been loving and listening to this track for yrs on and off and never knew Breaks co-op were kiwi! Sweet As Bro!
Me neither!
They're telling Bart that the logical conclusion is that they're his father. π

What about Straightjacket Fits or The Chills?
Love The Chills... please Bill check them out. A good fit?
The Chills are fantastic.
Original Luna line up was people from Chills, Feelies, Galaxy 500.
Bill, you really need to play more from all 4 of these great bands.

What about Straightjacket Fits or The Chills? We don't get any of them on RP either although I think they'd be nice additions.
I know. I wish Bill would only play Death Metal or at least limit all of his selections to tunes with more than 260 bpm.
Pure, unadulterated genius. I salute you, Proclivities.

Welcome. I too, am from Wilmington, although perhaps a little removed.............Kent.
Does that mean it's relaxing or boring?
So terrific indeed!
Thanks for the correction. Fixed now.
Nice song

Still, an interesting sound.

Just a little quirky.
I like it.
Then this becomes a must-buy.
I was thinking the same thing.
Still a long way to reach "ZERO7"

A really great album...it is better listened to as a whole body of work as opposed to single tracks. Their other album "Roofers" is quite worthy as well!
Do I detect a hint of Sonic Youth-ness?
*edit: And a bit of very old Cure in the guitar chord progressions occasionally dropping into darkness.
Both of which would be good things, IMHO. I like this song!
