Well, it's a-one for the money
Two for the show
Three to get ready now go, cat, go
But don't you
Step on my blue suede shoes
Well you can do anything
But lay off o' my blue suede shoes
Well you can knock me down
Step in my face
Slander my name all over the place
Well do anything that you wanna do
But uh-uh honey, lay off o' them shoes
And don't you
Step on my blue suede shoes
Well you can do anything
But lay off o' my blue suede shoes
Let's go, cats!
Oh, walk the dog!
Well you can burn my house
Steal my car
Drink my liquor from an old fruit jar
Well do anything that you wanna do
But uh-uh honey, lay off o' my shoes
And don't you
Step on my blue suede shoes
Well you can do anything
But lay off o' my blue suede shoes
Rock it!
Well it's a-one for the money
Two for the show
Three to get ready now go, go, go
But don't you
Step on my blue suede shoes
Well you can do anything
But lay off o' my blue suede shoes
Well it's blue blue, blue suede shoes
Blue blue, blue suede shoes, yeah
Blue blue, blue suede shoes, baby
Blue blue, blue suede shoes
But you can do anything

My apologies Lazarus, but this is one of the easiest suck-barfo rating decisions I ever had to make. 1
I have no musical talent, but I think I could have written this song.
good cover of a carl perkins tune, the last of the real elvis , not long before he lost it
marvelous... miss you, dad...
always soooo wonderful to hear you sing, dad... miss you...
Just to move some of the green stuff down the page. . . can I mention I added my vote of 1 to this pile of over rated rubbish?
I still miss you so much, dad... love to hear this cover...

Didn't notice the similarity until you said, and it's not just the way the words are placed, it's the colors of the words on the black, white and grey background of a guitarist on stage, really into playing!
Hey! Someone ripped off the cover of London's Burning!

I know that there's a fine line between classic and clichè, but this one is so far over the line as to be out of sight. Sadly, these days, when I hear 'the king' , I think of ageing teddy boys in crappy seaside towns with tattoos on their necks.

This is one of Elvis good ones. He was a good performer and had a nice voice. I like a handful of his songs. This is one. 7
I never liked Elvis. But this song... made me wanna buy a pair of blue suede shoes, and I couldn't find them anywhere... Proof that Elvis was ahead of his time, and still is...

How can you not love Elvis?
I know it's not cool to admit that you like Elvis, so I won't.
I LOVE Elvis!
And for anyone who wants to cast off their "coolness" for one night and have a great time, next time you're in Vegas, check out "Viva Elvis" at the Aria Hotel. You'll dig it!

Smokin' guitar strings and great swiveling hips. This white boy could rock and roll, and still be as sexy as ever.

I agree 100% . . .but for some reason I like "In the Ghetto" and "Suspicious Minds"
While I generally don't apologize for my opinions... I've always loathed Elvis. It feels like a shame because he was one of those that changed music forever, but I just can't get into anything that he's done. Maybe it is because I was forced to watch his terrible musical movies when I was a kid (back when we had 4 channels and one tv in the entire house), or maybe it is a generational thing... I don't know, but I just can't stand Elvis's music and I'm actually sorry about it.

This is one of the few Elvis songs that I like; others being Teddy Bear; Thats Alright Mama and Return to Sender. He was a great entertainer and a good singer early in his career, then as he got older, weirded out and pretty much sucked ass, just like Michael Jackson.
F*** Elvis

Wow. Wait til my wife hears Bill is playing Elvis. You'll have a listener for life!
Pfft. Another 1 hit wonder.
Thank you Carl Perkins!
What's gotten into Bill this afternoon? He must be in a 50s-60s mood. I like it.

Carl Perkins did it BETTER!
