I said, "Don't mind, but what do you mean I am the one
Who will dance on the floor in the round?"
She said I am the one who will dance on the floor in the round
She told me her name was Billie Jean as she caused a scene
Then every head turned with eyes that dreamed of being the one
Who will dance on the floor in the round
People always told me be careful what you do
Don't go around breaking young girls' hearts (hee-e!)
And mother always told me be careful who you love
And be careful what you do 'cause the lie becomes the truth (hey-hey!)
Billie Jean's not my lover
She's just a girl who claims that I am the one
But the kid is not my son (hoo!)
She says I am the one but the kid is not my son (hee-hee-hee, hee-hee-hee, whoo)
For forty days and forty nights, the law was on her side
But who can stand when she's in demand, her schemes and plans
'Cause we danced on the floor in the round
So take my strong advice
Just remember to always think twice
(Don't think twice, do think twice (Ah-hoo!)
She told my baby we'd danced 'till three then she looked at me
Then showed a photo, my baby cried, his eyes looked like mine (oh-no!)
Go on dance on the floor in the round, baby (hee-hee-hee)
People always told me be careful what you do
Don't go around breaking young girls' hearts (hee-e!, don't break no hearts!)
She came and stood right by me, then the smell of sweet perfume
This happened much too soon, she called me to her room
(hey-hey!)
Billie Jean's not my lover (hoo!)
She's just a girl who claims that I am the one
But the kid is not my son (dun-dun-dun-dun-dun-dun-dun-dun-hoo!)
Billie Jean's not my lover
She's just a girl who claims that I am the one
But the kid is not my son (no-no)
She says I am the one but the kid is not my son
(Hey!)
(Whoo!)
(Chicka, chicka, chicka)
She says I am the one but the kid is not my son (hoo!)
Billie Jean's not my lover
She's just a girl who claims that I am the one
But the kid is not my son (no-no-no, no-no-no, no-no!)
She says I am the one, but the kid is not my son
She says I am the one, (you know what you did!) she says he is my son (breaking my heart, baby!)
She says I am the one,
Billie Jean's not my lover
Billie Jean's not my lover
Billie Jean's not my lover
Billie Jean's not my lover
Billie Jean's not my lover
Billie Jean's not my lover
I would agree with you if it was a FOR SURE thing that he did molest kids. I for one don't believe he did. At least not like it was reported. Do a bit of reading about the accusers, hell they're the ones that should be in trouble. They "heard" about their kids being molested by MJ and what was the first thing they did? CALL A LAWYER! Not me, if I heard this from my kid's mouth, it would have been cops first.
Play MJ's music and forget about the terrible tabloid stuff...and think about all that he did good for kids...sick kids, dying kids, poor kids...and believe less from those who were out to get him and his money.
LONG LIVE RP!
Right?!! No Fear Bill, it's why I've been listening for a million years, why I donate, and why I keep coming back.
Woulad I create a Michael Jackson pandora station? Probably not, but this is most enjoyable right now.
You go, Bill.
This has nothing to do with music elitists. It has to do with what he was. Personally, I am glad he is gone. Wish I do tolerate any of his music.
jmho.
Fully agree
"...But the kid is not my son (no-no)
She says I am the one but the kid is not my son
(Hey!)
(Whoo!)
(Chicka, chicka, chicka).."

You, sir and/or Madam, are an optimist.
Michael Jackson in general may not appeal to most RP listeners, who I think would prefer to veer away from pop music (and that's why we listen to RP and not to the pop stations on FM), but MJ has got a few works with Quincy Jones that are truly catchy masterpieces even if they are in the pop music genre.
They deserve the occasional play in Bill's eclectic mix, and I welcome it. Very enjoyable to hear this thrown in the mix.
The whole point of RP is to provide variety. If you have a problem with this, then why are you here? Don't let the door hit your ass on the way out iTuner.
That was a turd in the punchbowl!
I wouldn't put this on a playlist at home but it's GREAT to hear right after a great Bonnie Raitt song. Where else can you get that kind of mix?!?
Love it.
But I bet it made you smile, in a strange kind of way, as it's just made me...
I keep having to stop listening this morning to wander off to metings, but every time I come back, something cool is playing.
My playlist this morning has been:
The Who
U2
MJ
...musically, I've had an excellent morning so far.
yep. it's probably good in some way, but i can't stand anything the goy 'sings' - oooh - oooooh. sucko-barfo & PSD.
Not to get all California Buddhist on y'all or anything...
And if you wanna talk great artist/producer collaborations of all time...Quincy and MJ? Fuhgeddaboutit.
F# or G# can't remember. Where's my pitchpipe?
I never liked his music, because I thought the music was not very good.
I felt like the hype and marketing, the ego and salesmanship associated with everything he did far eclipsed any actual musical talent he displayed. When just listening to what he did, musically, it does not appeal to me on any level. Go fig.
Thanks Mr DJ!
Much as I try to not like this album, I just can't pull it off. It really is (in my humble opinion) the pinnacle of pop.
With a STRONG nod to his producer, the inimitable Quincy Jones.
In the 80s he was the biggest star on the planet. There was no denying his incredible talent.
Tragic that it all went so terribly wrong.
R.I.P. MJ.
THIS
Godspeed, and rest easy Michael.
This was my thought exactly.
RIP Michael
Long Live the King!
