I rode sixteen wheels all the way
Sixteen nights and lonely days
I'm going back, I wish I never came
I'm going someplace where they never say your name

You kept me up all night with your coke and gin
Left me next morning and turned me in
And that's evil, baby you're no good
Well I'd forget you baby if I could

Well you show me the well but you don't let me drink
You threw my heart right in just to watch it sink
And it went down, it went down, it went all the way down
And I'm going there too, over the edge and drown

I'm gonna lay my head on some railroad line
Last thing I'll hear is that engine cry
I'm going back, I wish I never came
I'm going someplace where they never say your name

Hey @BillG, there's a bad link for her website.

In the URL, the "S" in HTTP needs to be removed. The domains web server does not respond to secure requests.

Antonio Salieri would be happy though...

Eilen can you please think louder?
I am curious how she does it, but has moves that I never use,
And brings me there, now journey or the stay becomes a splitsecond.
By the way she's cherishing sweet times ad interim, and that may be the cure and that's nothing heroic.
In short engagement ring,  and if longing becomes too long how can a I see thru a long phase?
Please kid don't you dare to ring victims song.

New musical group: the Tox Bops.
Suffering...

She is so much better than all the other similar/confusingly named Ellens and Jewel/Jewell s.

Wish she had a bigger catalog

More!
Wunderbar!
Great to hear Eilen! And hey y'all, she's expecting so you better get to one of her shows this spring...
Nice!
Nope, her whiny singing in this one, without any melody is driving me crazy.... (IMHO)

Businessgypsy, I don't know who you are or even if you have a Y chromosome, but I think I love you.

jerry miller is from moby grape?

Apparently, there are (at least 2) Jerry Millers playing guitars professionally - both great. We saw Eilen (and Jerry) and he tore it up! just amazing. I told him exactly that after the show and he was really humble and personable. Why he wasn't a well known guitar star is beyond me.

Being a gluten for punishment, I think I'd like to have a drink with Eilen.
Sitting in a bar, with a buzz and listening to her might be a entertaining night

Maybe you can bring her some flours!

Re Bill's comments. I never knew that was Jerry Miller on the rhythm guitar—drenched in tremolo. Very, very cool. You know how much I love The Grape...{#Tongue}

Damning with faint praise, and an internet accent! Gaaaaah! Right in the bottle of ketchup!

Hmmm, how to score..... eight? Aw, hell, it's a NINE outtta the box!

Same here for me. But just gunna buy the MP3.

Amazing. Got her playing for me here in the UK on 1st Oct. Can't wait!  She's soon to release an album of Loretta lynn covers.
She performed live for CBC last night in Vancouver and it was a very good concert, by all accounts. Should be available on a podcast in a couple of weeks.

It´s a jewel, so nice to hear.

Nice note, though. (Actually, she does sing several and not too bad, either; compared with Gregorian chant, it's pretty varied.)

Downloaded this one from iTunes. Had to have it. Thanks RP.
i like her more and more.
I love Eilen. Superb live performer with Jerry Miller on guitar. So glad RP has got her on the playlist, she's gonna be big one day.
Nice addition to the rotation.
Can we assume that prison is where they never say your name?
The CD is all over the place—think very eclectic—this is one of the standouts.
