You're gonna lively up yourself, and don't be no drag
You lively up yourself 'cause reggae is another bag
You lively up yourself and don't say no
You're gonna lively up yourself 'cause I said so.

Hear what you gonna do
You rock so, you rock so
Like you never did before
You dip so, you dip so
Dip through my door.
You come so, you come so
Oh yeah
You skank so, you skank so
Be alive today!

You're gonna lively up yourself, and don't say no
You lively up yourself, big daddy say so
You lively up yourself, and don't be no drag
You lively up yourself 'cause reggae is another bag

What you got that I don't know
I'm a trying to wonder why you act so
Hey, do you hear what the man seh?

Lively up your yourself, your woman in the morning time, you'all
Keep a livelin' up your woman when the evening come and take her

You rock so, you rock so
You dip so, you dip so
You skank so, you skank so, and don't be no drag
You come so, you come so, for reggae is another bag.

Get what you got in that bag
What have you got in the other bag you got hanging there
What you say you got
I don't believe you

Robert Plant used to do a killer version of this in concert.

Look it up if you can.
I and I are dancing
I´ve got the album on vinyl in a very good condition. Every time i play that and close my eyes, i think the wailers are playing in my living room, because  that 45 year old LP has a so fantastic sound!
ok
Reggae’s own “Live At Fillmore East”.

I see what you did there! A 'doobie' negative!
Anyone out there who loves his greatest hits album Legend but hasn't dug much deeper, check out the Songs of Freedom boxed set, if not the individual albums. I was knocked over by how many other incredible Marley songs there are. My favorite Bob Marley song, "Concrete Jungle", isn't even on Legend. And so so many others.

Marley? excuse me, that's The Honourable Robert Nesta Marley, OM.
and don't you forget it

Whoa. More ghosts. I'm hearing Portishead now.
So Marley!! Love it
I is dancin'...................you too...goood
Like I have said before, ALL Marley STARTS at 10 and only goes up from there!
Not long enough...what a great vibe.
Bob is everybody's brother.
Sounds Misogynist to me.
This was and is still a family favorite.
Fantastic live album ✌️
Cosmic / out of this world Greatness!
Two generations of rock bands learned how to get the crowd going after this long-play came out. Bought my first turntable when the salesman put this album on.

Why is this song not a solid 10 from everyone here? Instead a 7.1 like for some Sonic Youth dirge.

Bizarre...

Saw him twice. Both in small venues. The first time I saw him changed my whole perspective of music... world music was heavy on my playlist after that. Second time I saw him was on Halloween in a small college gymnasium.... AMAZING. Had tickets to see him a 3rd time... right before he got sick.... devastated. He was a revolutionary... so he lived a short life. Funny how that happens.
Live Feat then live Marley. RP has the best audio streaming quality.
October 6, 1978 - Montreal Forum - fabulous show, Bob!
(So much ganja smoke in the air...wooooooo)

SO overplayed!!  (Or is it just my age?)  I love RP for the new music it exposes me to and the way it is well-blended with older cuts.

I named my cat after this song... LIVELY.   {#Sunny}
This album always reminds me of my travels on the back roads Humboldt County in search of...

roll another spliff  & turn it UP...........{#Sunny}

Someday, I'll have to share my story about the first time I ever danced to reggae (it was in a little cattle-farming town where the only high heels to be found were on cowboy boots.)  But I'm dancin' to this one - very infectious beat, and the vocals are just joyous.  Love it.{#Sunny}
Happy Birthday, Bob!!!
Nunca me canso de escuchar a Bob.. Pocos musicos me generan eso!
I am never not in the mood for some bob:)

It's always the mixture of classic and new songs that keeps me listening to RP every day....

So Bob is ok for me.
