It's your head it's your heart
Lost somewhere missing parts
Wedding bells second time
One more tale one more crime

Tell us nothing tell us lies
Revelations no surprise
Tonight they Hunt for you
Tell us nothing tell us lies
Only passion that you have
Tonight they Hunt for you

Every night every day
Making plans for your escape
All you love you destroy
Everyone is your toy

You tell nothing too late
Lies, you tell lies...

Lovely - always good to hear the talented Ms Goldfrapp and Mr Gregory.

GOOD TUNE!    Very true.  Interesting observation!    ...dynamic range is the the difference between loud & soft volume levels.

Album-filler, compared to other tracks.
Not Goldfrapp’s best...
A great artist who whiffed on this one - by far the worst of her cd's, this is still a decent song on an album filled with mostly clunkers. Try "Faux Suede Drifter" from her latest cd if you want a sonic head-trip that shows what Goldfrapp can do when they are dialed in. Or maybe 25 other songs that I can probably think of by the band.

WTF? Are you insane? How can you use that kind of image just because a track is not to your liking? Have you lost your mind?
This song reminds me Mylene Farmer.

After multiple listens, this album shrinks on you.  It's a cute gag: Olivia Newton-John meets New Order, but how much of that do you need?  I'd like to see it live...once.

With this album (but not this song) they said "Back to the dance floor!" So let's make some bananas shake!

Any other recommendations for electronically influenced female vocalists like this and Imogene?

Check out Poe and Sinead with Conjure One.

I'll second the Jem recommendaton.

Other recommendations... I'm sure you're familiar with Bjork.  Maybe Dido is a match.  Certainly Everything But the Girl - I probably should have thrown them out there first!   If ya liked Imogen Heap, be sure to check out Frou Frou.  Portishead has a similarly lush female vocalist, but the music is more hip-hop influenced than electronic.  Most of Massive Attack and Morcheeba, but again, as much hiphop as electronic influence there.  Bitter:sweet should fit the bill.  A lot of Zero 7 - yeah, there's a mixtape in that I'm sure!

The artist uses a direct approach: "Head First" {#Whisper} {#Sunny}
I'm liking this one a lot more than the other track from this album that's in the RP library!  A solid 7.

Awesome!!  What is the name of her first album?

You won't regret buying ANY of their albums (Alison Goldfrapp sings lead, but 'Goldfrapp' is the band name consisting of Alison Goldfrapp and Will Gregory).

THEIR first album was  Felt Mountain - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goldfrapp
I am thinking so too.. when I get home I'll purchasing it.

It's nice enough, but I much prefer the brassy sexuality of her first album. She went a bit 'soft' with her second album, IMO, and lost the distinctive vocal and instrumental sound that made the first album stand out from the crowd.

...i think you might mean their second and third albums, respectively - felt mountain is a brooding, trippy, melancholy experiment, very far from brassy sexuality...this album, head first, is their fifth...
Not their best but I like it...reminds me of ??

Gosh I love the electronica, but this is not the most intriguing of songs I've heard by Goldfrapp.  Anything with this kind of background is better than same 'ol 'tars N drums although.  It's refreshing, in a way.

Have you seen Hard Candy?

I like Goldfrapp's other albums, I prolly will like this one too. I heard it's very 80s dance. Sounds just a little like Madonna, which isn't a bad thing.
it appears they put on an interesting live show!
Really easy on the ears - 8!
...wow, almost kind of a bat for lashes / florence and the machine vibe here...
This afternoon's playlist is really jiving with my mood while at work today!! Thanks Bill!
