You broke my heart and you made me cry
You said that I couldn't dance
But now I'm back to let you know
That I can really make romance

You do what you gotta do
You do everything you can
You do what you wanna do
Hey, but I love you, suzanne

You do anything once
You try anything twice
You so what you gotta do
Hey, but I love you, suzanne, hey, hey

Do what you wanna do
You do what you can
You do what you wanna do
But I love you, suzanne

I love you when you're good
Baby, I love you when you're bad
You do what you gotta do
Hey, but I love you, suzanne

Do what you wanna do
Hey, baby, do what you can

You do what you wanna do, baby
But I love you, suzanne

I know you, try anything once, baby
You try anything twice
Do what you gotta do
But I love you, suzanne

I love you when you're good, baby
I love you when you're bad
Do what you wanna do
Ooohhh, but I love you, suzanne, hey, hey

Hey, I love you, suzanne
I love you, suzanne
I love you, suzanne
Oh, sweet ...

Do what you wanna do
Hey, you do what you can
You do what you wanna do
Hey, but I love you, suzanne

You try anything once
You do anything twice
Do what you wanna do
You know that I love you, suzanne

Any Lou Reed tune starts from 8. Let's fix this, please

I agree the barbarians have no taste.
Well... A song like this can only make me say,

Long live RP for playing songs no one else would play,

For better or worse :0)

You didn't even want me around

I can really shake 'em down

The 1975 line up!

I have always loved this track. . . it hits the spot wonderfully.

sweet! Quite an eclectic line-up. I would have loved to have seen Joan Armatrading around that time. I just learned to play Down to Zero a month or so ago.

RP needs to randomize their playlist again: same two songs again back to back.

And please lose this Lou Reed piece. It's an embarrassment to what he could and has otherwise done. 80's crap.

Bill makes a concerted effort to make sure that the playlist is anything but random.  Of course, since he is only one dude and RP plays 24/7, that means that we hear the same song combos sometimes.  Its a price I think we are all willing to pay to make sure that things aren't just random.

As for the 80's Lou Reed, I am inclined to agree...

More about this 'dancin with yourself '  I think more than a few of us are just a little bit curious.{#Mrgreen}

Great old Chicago and I start talking up how wonderful RP is and then...this embarrassment.

Maybe something from Blue Mask like the title cut. But this? Lou should be ashamed.

Wow, I haven't heard this one in forever.
I remember playing this LP when it came out while I was a Freshman in College.  It sounds even better on RP now!
Happy Lou!

I remember when this came out - everyone made a big deal about new Lou Reed, but it immediately struck me as a big, dumb pop song. The 80's style drumming is particularly annoying.

I'm sure he is but it's good to know he'll be all set for his retirement.

First old Chicago, my HS girl friends favorite band and now Lou Reed with a tune named after a long time ago live in girl friend.

Don't tell my wife. {#Angel}
