There were nights and mornings
When you come to me
Found your way into my bones, my joints
Into my veins
Like an animal you coiled your darkness around me
You spelled your name in charcoal
All over my body

But these days
I just walk with you
These days
I let you stay
A little further away
But I walk with you
These days
I'll let you stay

There were summer days and nights
When I was blind to you
You were quiet and you were still
Even when the moon was full
My temporary state of lightness would scare me
After all, I was sure
You were most wrong then, I was daring

But these days
I just walk with you
These days
I let you stay
These days
I just talk with you
These days
I let you stay
A little further away
But I walk with you
These days
I let you stay

The things you've shown me over the years
The roads you blocked and how you'll define me

These days
I just walk with you
These days
I let you stay
These days
I just talk with you
These days, these days

Exactly! Thought she'd swithched the band {#Cheesygrin}

"Oh Love" is a more grabbing tune.
Nice Eyes
Please pull this song out of rotation...slow torture

So you can sear an unpleasant situation into your long-term memory right up until your consciousness permanently dissolves away? I must try that sometime.

457 repetitions of these days.

This is very attractive. Interesting and original.

Hey Bill! Ane Brun is from Norway. Not Sweden. Thanks for playing this, anyway.

From Norway originally, yes — but she's lived in Stockholm for 12+ years.
not my cup o' tea at all, unlike the enlightening and gorgeous Serfina Steer, the powerful and enticing Cassandra Wilson and the lovely and amazing k.d. laing!

Oh no, Bill.  It's horrible!!  Don't make us listen please.  "Send it to the cornfield, send it to the cornfield!"

"These days"-- got it.  Now stop singing it please.

Not Ane's best IMHO, kindof pedestrian for her.
I really like this song: atmosphere special, somewhere a bit creepy but beautiful!
I like Ane Brun. But this one is a bit of a miss for me. Sounds like the kind of music you get with some performance art.

You make it seem like that's a bad thing.
Sounds like excerpts from a counseling session...

I like the other track from this recording that I've heard here, but this one isn't moving me just yet.
