When you're trading in your hopes for blind despair
Like a tameless river rising every hour
And your little world is not a little safe
There's an edginess on top of every wave
We could make a choice as far as I can see
We should choose between the siren or the sea
Now if those lying dying bastards passed their test
It'll move that spaz descripted as grotesque
You wanted to come out to greet the first born on the Nile
But you take that highway for another mile
Squeeze my hand, my love, let's dive into the deep
And let's pave the way for the siren or the sea
Siren or the sea
Like a tameless river rising every hour
And your little world is not a little safe
There's an edginess on top of every wave
We could make a choice as far as I can see

Dutch multi-talent, often seen in films here. To follow the success of Caro Emerald, also from The Netherlands.

I first fell in love with her via Black Book, an excellent movie that deals with "you gotta do what you gotta do." And she sings?!

Bumping from a 7 to an 8...liking this more with every listen.
I like. I can almost forgive her for torturing Gendry and having Davos put in a cell. :-)

Was thinking that also - her voice reminds me of Skye Edwards.
Slightly reminiscent of Massive Attack. Nice. Good looking you say?... I love Google images

Ah, the Red Priestess...
She is a well-known actress in The Netherlands.
As support act of Rufus Wainwright she did her first big performance in november 2012.
I prefer her style of acting

8 for performance....10 for booty. Ok, so I'm (a lech)erous old guy but I'm not senile, yet!
nice hat.
That was an interesting track from someone I've never heard of... nice one Bill!

"Game of Thrones" what is that? Some sort of euphemism for competative toilet making? Why would such a lovely singer be involved with such an obscure underground sport?

little sister to Milhous?
She's got a sister who's an actress as well, she'll be a singer too someday, I guess...it runs in the family
intriguing, must look into this girl a bit more.
Evil! I should say so coco.
If you're ever confused by G.O.T., just remember that the Starks are the good guys, everyone else is just baaaad, with the possible exception of Tyrion... ok not just the Starks.. Oh hell I dunno.
On another note:
Rest of this album does not live up to the promise of this track, but it's still ok.

Really dig this song. Haven't seen game of thrones but now I have a reason to check it out.

Well, she is basically an actrice who took up singing about a year ago I think.

Carice is definitely taller than I thought she would be
Just commenting on Bill's comments about Carice and The Game of Thrones (HBO version) and it just upped his coolness factor even more for me.
Oh and she can sing too.
