I would know who roars mostly like the beast
going out to hunt and then back to feast
I consider you, I consider you
I consider you
From your hill of beans I will sit and roar
Thinking to myself: What are you waiting for?
I consider you, I consider you
I consider you

Let's go tonight, let the beast run a mile,
with the dogs and the cattle, let's go.
I know you said it's like a heel to the head,
or a girl in your bed and in your arms.

Curiousity you do not know
but with a gang of me you'll be on your toes,
I consider you, I consider you
I consider you
For a bit of skirt you do go my way
singing to the sky, oh like a bird of prey,
I consider you, I consider you
I consider you

Let's go tonight, to let the beast run wild
with the dogs and the cattle, let's go.
I know you've said, it's like a heel to the head,
or a girl in your bed and your arms.
For the butter on your bread, for the dying and the dead,
for your cheeks turning red, let's go.
Let's go tonight, let the beast run a mile,
with the dogs and the cattle, let's go.

smile already dang, what are you from the 1880's.. {#Cheesygrin}

Everyone back then had to sit super still for photos because of the long exposure time.  There are lots of semi-blurry photos of people from that time smiling, laughing with their kids, etc., but the cameras couldn't work quick enough to take them clearly.

Or Tori Amos' Danish cousin
Drunk at 3am tinkling on the piano....

I suspect if that was a guy on the cover without a smile, there wouldn't be any one telling him to smile.
I honestly like everything I have heard from Agnes Obel
LOL @ mayhem at the farm comments!

OK gents, word of advice:  When she uses this line on you, best be ready for the grapple of your life.  Of course, if you're hangin' with women that would actually use this line, you're probably prepared for anything...

Or she's a farmer and invites you to work the late shift with her?

Too funny {#Cheesygrin}
You can also say she won't run with the hare, and hunt with the hunter.
             ( First I thought she's wearing a designer t-shirt.)
She looks formidable, which is a good thing. Some probably did smile in the 1880's, {#Wink} but I wasn't there in my current iteration, so I couldn't swear to it.

I bought her last two CDs and they are a joy to experience.  Peaceful music.
When RP plays lovely mellow music, I am in a continual state of gratitude!

strange cover.
Everybody in my alien space craft loves this song... we love sex, drugs, and rock 'n roll...
That is some bad ass piano work there...  marvelous melody work...  the lyrics feel like a secret message just for me...  love this song...
Bite your tongue.  {#Stop}
