My Jazz professor, Marc Seales, loved this guy's ability to use his piano as a drum, and often would improvise for us in class in this style (ala Max Roach's drumming-style) - this one's a 9 for me...Long Live RP and great music of all genres!!
This I don't get.
Jazz barf.
Love (((((((((((((vibes)))))))))))))). Soothes the soul. Thank you RP!
Slipping on the cans. Ahhhh
I love the skip button.
Excellent to hear Cecil (and real jazz) on RP!

They should play one they know
Being the first to comment on this beautiful piece notwithstanding, I quit what I was doing to see who it was playing,...Lionel Hampton maybe? But to my surprise and delight I find this smooth vibe being played by Cecil Taylor to be an 8+ on first hearing it.
Wonderful ...
5 o'clock mellow tune as I lock up for the day : ) (whoa sounds like someone's hitting the speed bag towards the end!)
