You are mine again, every mistake that you made
All the people that you saved that took a little piece of you with them
You are mine again, and I'm so damn glad you're here
Talking strong, sober, and clear like you couldn't back then
How many sad songs it take, to get your stubborn ass awake?
What finally got you rising from your bed?
Was it the sunset on her cheeks, leading down to a delicate collar bone, or judgement of your mind when you're alone?
Mine again, my fondest friend where the hell you been?
I've been struggling to get back to you
And if you fight all night I'm sure you'll gain the guts to try
To get past the things that you've been through
'Cause no one plays it cool quite the way you do
Are those tires you got still turning? Is the spirit you had still burning?
Do you still talk that shit the way you did before?
All the women and the wages and the wars that I've been waging
I just don't feel like fighting anymore
Mine again, my fondest friend where the hell you been?
I've been struggling to get back to you
And if you fight all night I'm sure you'll gain the guts to try
To get past the things that you've been through
'Cause no one plays it cool quite the way you do
Mine again
So head back home and be who you know you can
Mine again
So don't be so cruel and play God with all his plans
Well I am mine again, every mistake that I make
And I ain't ashamed to say who the hell I am
'Cause I am mine again, and I'm so damn glad I'm here
Talking strong, sober, and clear like I couldn't back then
All the people that you saved that took a little piece of you with them

Boomchakaboomchakaboomchakaboom etc...
When it comes to country "Bryan's," I'll take a Zack over a Luke. Was deeply concerned for the state of country music in recent years, but artists like this, Jason, Sturgill, Kacey, and the generational talent that is Chris Stapleton, have this genre in good hands.

Would seem like a cracking idea
RP needs a C&W or Southern Rock stream

too bad there ain't enough good content
this ain't 1976
Oh there's plenty of good country music out there. Frankly it's about the only genre where there are still real musicians. You're not gonna find the good stuff on terrestrial radio though.
Thanks RP!! Now for some Tyler Childers, Sturgill, Turnpike Troubadours, etc etc etc!!

Early Ryan Adams...Whiskeytown
I thought this might have been Ryan Adams. I enjoyed it and was a bit relieved it wasn't Ryan Adams ...
Shame that so many talented people (mostly men) feel so entitled that they lord their power over others (mostly women) and are abusive.
Sorry to be so negative after such a nice Zach Bryan song ... apparently I needed to get some bile out of my system.

You know this guy is authentic because he says things like "so damn glad", "talk that shit" and "ain't".
I believe I have Alanna to thank for this track. Thank you.

It was your post that first caught my eye and made me read the lyrics. THANK YOU! My Ex died at age 56 of alcoholism... Stay STRONG and true to you.

And I know Zach Bryan is getting a lot of hype, which is a turnoff for me, but his music is definitely growing on me.
Love this! But makes me wanna hear some Tyler Childers...

This is getting way too much airplay on the Main Mix. It currently shows as 10 times in 30 days. Isn't that a lot?
Love this! But makes me wanna hear some Tyler Childers...

Sounds like real country, not that auto-tuned beer, dirt and truck pop-rock-with-a-twang junk that country radio sells these days...
Quite like this. Not cheesy country.
Nothing like a new country tune.
