We sail through endless skies
Stars shine like eyes
The black night sighs
The moon in silver trees
Falls down in tears
Light of the night
The Earth, a purple blaze
Of sapphire haze
In orbit always
While down below the trees
Bathed in cool breeze
Silver starlight breaks down the night
And so we pass on by the crimson eye
Of great god Mars
As we travel through the universe
Stars shine like eyes
The black night sighs
The moon in silver trees
Falls down in tears
Light of the night
The Earth, a purple blaze
Of sapphire haze
In orbit always
While down below the trees
Bathed in cool breeze
Silver starlight breaks down the night
And so we pass on by the crimson eye
Of great god Mars
As we travel through the universe

Jeez... Haven't heard this version in probably 40 years... My dad had this vinyl record and it was pretty scratched up, so now when I hear it again I can literally hear the scratches.

No, this is Ozzy without voice effects, because he was using often ''vocal doubling''. 🤘😎🦇🦇🦇
who is on vocals on this version? does not sound like John Osbourne.

first time I've heard this vocal-forward version. nice.
Nice and dark
Alright - made me look. William had to brush off some serious dust to play this track.

Thanks for the great Sabbath cut!
Love it.

Here they are,
The sky was clear that night
We were alone and so much in love
A tree stood at the bottom
Of that lonely field and it was lovely
The moon like a big red bun
Stood in the sky and I wondered why
We sat upon the grass
It was so cold, but the heat of my mind
Was enough to keep us warm
And you caressed my body
Oh that was lovely, I'll never forget that night
Oh, my darling, my darling
LLRP!
