To me the music goes nowhere. Just babble, babble. Like much of contemporary music. I don't get it. I'm old-I'd say that's my excuse, but no, I don't get it.

“Empty commercial computer music,” did you bother to listen? Empty? Rosalia did extensive research over 2-3 years to write a concept album about female Catholic saints and then recorded it in 14 different languages. Commercial? Is the Latin/world/pop/classical genre tearing up the Billboard charts? Computer? Recorded with the London Symphony Orchestra and other artists over four days. Please listen again and read the Wiki entry on the LUX album. This is symphonic, operatic, pop, classical, brilliant music, Not a casual listen, it requires some focus. Listen on good headphones or speakers, you’ll be rewarded.

Her music in this song contains elements of traditional flamenco from her background education and training (her first two albums), combined with the more contemporary music she explored in her third album, and she then fitted it into the classical music setting of this album LUX.
Her lyrics in this song combine the conventional layer of unrequited desire, with the darker stalker theme, and she also layers on the swapped perspective & gender of God. Since the album explores the lives of many different female saints and their relationship with divinity, one possible way to think about this song is that for people who've experienced what they believe to be a divine calling that there may have been times for them when God's attention seemed overwhelming, unwelcome, and perhaps even threatening. Imagine wanting to just live your life only to be beset by visions and an insistent divine presence following you everywhere you go. If He has chosen you, can you say no and escape?
The idea of divine intervention mentioned in this song appears in many songs on this album, and there might be a direct parallel with the darker abrasive parts of Berghain that some RP listeners also struggle with.
Many people like their music, and theology, to be sweet and easy to digest like candy (as is clear from some of the ratings here). Rosalía isn't giving them that with LUX; though she certainly knows how to use sweetness effectively when she wants to. This song, as with others on the album, are a tapestry with many layers. It seems that Rosalía has a very interesting mind with some compelling insights about music, theology, relationships, life, and death.
